So your head is a mess, and the mere sight of your kids is enough to trigger an anxiety attack. Who have you become?
A parent, of course!
Crazy Mummy Syndrome is a fun and real look at how to push through the pain, and stigma, associated with post natal depression & anxiety.
Since being diagnosed with depression and anxiety following the birth of her second child, Llew Dowley has been trying to get the world to start taking more notice of mental illness. With a love for conversation, Llew set out trying to get people to start talking about depression and bring light to a hidden disease.
Llew aims to inspire other mothers to be proactive in managing their PND & anxiety, so that they can enjoy life as a family.
Llew lives in Sydney with her two gorgeous children and her supportive husband. Over the past few years, Llew has bravely started two new businesses, that allow her more flexibility with the way she works, and in doing so is now able to spend more time with her young family

An amazing story about a mother who showed guts and determination to overcome many obstacles in dealing with her depression.
An inspiration to all who read this story, and to the people who share her journey.
I cried, I laughed, and after reading Crazy Mummy Syndrome, I felt Llew's message of getting people to start talking about post natal depression was spot on.

I found I could relate to this book from the first chapter and am so grateful that someone has written a book on what post natal depression is truly like.
Thanks so much Llew, for sharing your very personal story.
I am not a parent, and I do not suffer from depression. Yet this book spoke to me. I connected with Llew’s inspirational journey and found solace in her words.
Her explanation of overcoming challenges and painful experiences will leave you in tears one minute, and rolling around in laughter the next. This brave story is an inspirational read.
